Allycia Uccello, Blue Fish, 1970

$500.00

Allycia Uccello (née Gladstone) is the daughter of celebrated Canadian sculptor and painter Gerald Gladstone and is a remarkable artist in her own right.

The fish is a common motif in her work, and the early watercolour series that this artwork belongs to is the most sought after in her oeuvre. In fact, it was created and exhibited at the Royal Ontario Museum while Uccello was still in art school.

What we love about it: how impactful this image is, while at the same time being so simple in its design. The blue is divine!

Dimensions: 51 x 35.5 cm framed; composition is 35.5 x 20 cm

This artwork is signed by the artist in pencil and is offered framed and ready to hang. It is in very good condition with some minor signs of wear. Note that detailed condition reports are available for all artworks upon request.
